omg this has been going on for months now!!!! many of you will recognise this thread as i started a similar one after i payed a pro to install and then had all kinds of poping, shifting, noises.
ok so it was like a three page thread and in all cases you guys were right! about everything!!
it was my mechanic partner that did all work and now im back to dealing with my mechanic again and he is doing evrything possible to make it right. a really good guy.
anyway its at the shop now and again you guys were right, the bump stops were not put back on in original install so i bought the kyb ones you guys suggested that do not have to be cut. kyb 103 and 108. k he is there now saying they wont fit?????he has his reason and tries to explain but i am not mechanically inclined at all and have no idea what he is even talking about.
i spoke to countless of you guys here and all said they would work so i dont get it?
next you guys were right again, the springs were not clocked properly and therefor they make all kinds of noises etc. but again he says there is a reason for this too. that the holes on the mounting would not line up or something if you clock properly and face the stamped word "out" towards fender????
so i tried for months here to do this myself and read and read and read and gave him all my findings. and now that its all apart you guys were totally right on all fronts about what his partner did wrong but now he is saying that the things you guys say to do to fix he can not for various reasons and speaking to me in mechanical words which i do not understand!!!! ahhhhhhh so frustrating but he really is trying to help.
so please anyone that has installed this setup themselfs or knows alot about this setup please call me and ill gladly transfer some funds over to you via paypal if you can talk to him in his language and get him to do this properly.
im despirate at this point and time is of the essence as its at his shop now taking up space. i know you guys are right and i bought all the appropriate hardware as it was your recommendation. i just need someone to please help me and talk to him in his language who has done this setup to tell him it can infact be done and maybe where he is going wrong or not thinking of. thank you and please call me pat 609 204 0548
