How do I tell what struts/springs I have?
My struts have been blown for a while and my mechanic changed out the struts on another Maxima and the owner of that car said he didn't want to keep the old struts/springs, so the mechanic installed it on my car as a surprise for me
He told me they were Koni struts/springs and I didn't bother getting any more information, of course this was a month ago and he doesn't remember anymore when I called him.
So is there an easy way to identify different suspension setups?

first I would take off the wheel an look with my eyes (they are located on your face on either side of your nose). once you see the assembly you can look for words and symbols to point you in the right direction. and if you still cant figure it out take a pic and post it so maybe someone can help you identify it.
its alot like asking "how do I know what type of car I have? (Ive never seen it though)"
but all joking aside I think koni only makes yellows for the 4th gen but I could be wrong.
