Anyone else have uneven head lights?
Anyone else have uneven head lights?
My driver headlight does NOT sit flush with the grill/hood because it has to be adjusted to the left so much just to hit the beam patteren directly ahead. I'd say its 1 inch sticking on where it meets the grill.
Sucks really. It was like this with before and after the 9007 mod.
At first i thought the front end might have been in an accident but there is no sigh of any damage except from a what looks to be repainted radiator support bar. Car looks clean, i've been in and out of it and hell, if it WAS in a accident, the body shop did a hell of a job making it clueless.

Thats the main reason I gave up on the 9004 to 9007 conversion. I have a 98 SE with plastic lens maybe other years have a different housing. Just convert back to the 9004's Go high wattage if you need more light than the silverstars can put out.

I just noticed that you said that the problem was there before the 9007 mod. When I installed the 9007's I had to make extreme adjustment to get them aimed with the 9004s properly aimed my housings sit flush like they should.
9004/9007 swap had nothing to do with it.
Ill check that out.
Why don't you try and find a happy medium b/t the two beams.... ie. aim your driver beam more to the right and your passenger more to the right. Then it won't be nearly as noticeable.
My car has been in a few minor front end impacts so my headlights have a few washers in-between the mounts and the headlights to get them close to factory. Maybe you should just add some washers on your passenger side?

Its just the way it is. There will always be some misalignment. Many other cars from have adjusters IN the lights, they move the reflector and bulb within the housing. We unfortunately got stuck with some old *** design.
