Fog Light Question

I just got a new fog light to replace my broken one. The old foglight didn't work before but the bulb wasn't broken or blown. I did replace the foglight and the bulb with no results. It did have water in it though but what i don't get is the fuse wasn't blown and the relay is fine. The passanger side foglight works but the drivers side doesn't. I'm not quite sure what do next besides trace the wiring and look for exposed or shorted wires. By the way I did do a search I looked through about 7pgs with no luck.

Start with the simple easy things. How sure are you that the bulbs are both still good? Next, check voltage at the harness to the foglight, if no voltage is present, check the nearest fuse block as you go eliminating different points in the electrical system

check the socket, the prongs inside may be bent or snapped in someway that when the bulb is in its still not connected. I had the same problem with my turn signals.

Since you said there was water in the old fog light you might have oxidation build up on the terminals in the gray clip. Try cleaning them with terminal cleaner or scraping them clean, if they are dirty. Then use a little penatrox when finished.

Well I checked the bulb and ground turns out the brand new bulb I got snapped off the filliment right at the base of the inside of the bulb.WTF I replaced it with a new one but it still didn't work I looked at the terminals to see ifthe were corroded but they seem fine. I lost my multimeter, can't find the thing I'll see if I can't find it today to check for resistance and current flow.

Maybe a broken or corroded ground wire? Another possibility.
