Time to say 'bye'...
Time to say 'bye'...
Well, the Maxima is being picked up Wednesday by a friend from Georgia. It was fun building and learning on my first straight axle car. I'm going to miss her, but the 3 is begging for some wheels and tires.
Goodbye Maxima....
Goodbye Maxima....

Who knows, I loved the Max. Maybe someday I will have more freedom to cut up another 4th gen. I can honestly say, if I came back to the Maxima side of things, the 4th gen is where it's going to be. I loved mine.
This is the only car (other than the 3), that I didn't cut up. I was looking for reliability... and I got it. I didn't have any major issues in over a year of owning her.
And it's hard to move two cars from Clearwater to Vegas with no help
If that wasn't an issue, I'd hang on to her.
PS: i DID cut and feather the inner fenders
So I did cut SOMETHING...

i can dig it. i probably won't do much cutting the second time around either.
cab't believe you can't find somebody to drive to vegas though. couple hundred in chips might help.

Cheapest shipping I found was $850... and you know what they say ('you get what you pay for') The going rate appears to be $1200ish.
And the hatch takes priority, since it's actually worth more than 15K.
It's about time to run some BuddyClubs and some coilovers on it anyways.
I wish I could keep her... but gotta make some cutbacks.
