Clutch issue

During my commute my clutch pedal feel and engagement point keep changing. When i first start my car it feels normal and engages at the normal point. As i drive eventually the pedal feels really hard and the clutch engages very high and on occasion the pedal will feel very very light and the clutch will engage just off the floor. I'm hoping someone can help me out with where to look or what to check. Thanks in advance.

i blame it on crappy brake fluid..

First, Check for any fluid build up/ leaks along your clutch line.

Second, Change that crappy brake fluid out of the clutch reservoir for some fresh Synthetic Brake Fluid.

If all else fails, get an automatic Maxima.... J/K. Let us know how it goes.
