Mirror Replacement

Which manual offers better advice on how to replace a mirror? Haynes or Chilton.

Also, my windshield cleaners stopped working all of a sudden any idea what the problem could be (it's not empty)?

Do you mean that liquid is not coming out of either of the sprayers?

Here ya go:

Open the door, pop off the plastic triangle piece, you'll find couple hex bolts behind. I think that's all.

It's been so long since I've been in my car, I forgot the door panel has to come off first. Thanx for the correction!

naw man, some inbred f*ggot tried to get back on the highway and crossed the exit lane, and almost hit me, luckily I reacted and switched lanes to avoid collision, but not soon enough to save my mirror. oh well, it could've went a lot worse.

Oh crap! that sucks. Well, mine was broke when I let someone borrow my car, they're the type of person who backs up by looking out the back window, instead of using mirrors... clipped the driver side mirror... I'm surprised the mirror didn't flip backwards, unless the driver was really gunning it!

The triangle panel appears to have a single bolt holding it in.

Driver. Black shell, and ok mirror. The motor that turns the mirror's way louder than before, and I had increased wind noise after installation, but not bad. Oh and the plastic seems thinner and more flexible. If you're on a budget, it's good. If you want the best, Get it from the dealership.

Oh yeah, non-heated

It looks like Dorman has one for $95, and they usually have quality OEM products. Maybe try theirs. The local dealership wanted $150-200, and it only comes in black. Or you can try www.car-parts.com if you want matching color.
