O2 Issue
O2 Issue
The car had been given a few tanks of low octane and I just took on some 94. a short while after I get a code for the right bank 02 and after a reset the 0505. The right bank 02 is new this year.
1. Can a higher octane cause the sensor to throw a code and the sensor still be ok?
2. The upstream o2's are 3 or 4 wire?
Thanks.

Not sure about the octane throwing the code, especially with our cars being designed to run on higher octane fuel.
I have a 96 GXE and the upstream O2 sensors are 4 wires. If you end up needing to replace one of them, it is fairly easy. Also, www.oxygensensors.com has pretty good deals.
