Possible blown shock?
I hope everybody had a great Holiday. I have a 97 max sitting on AGX shocks and H&R springs. It appears the driver side rear is sitting lower than the passenger side. Would a blown shock cause this? Thanks.
Can't imagine so by any noticeable difference, given that the spring sets ride height, not the shock.
Tried the bounce test yet? Pulled the shock to see if it's blown? Actually looked at it?
3 good things to try before you post asking about it.

Only way to see it is if you pull it. When you do the shock should fall all the way down and there you have a blown shock. If it stays up it should be good, but may be going out.
Any leaks? Same adjustment on both sides? Check it out.
well to start park somewhere that is level not a street parking try a parking lot or something to be sure that the ground its standing on is leveled and go from there. thats wat i would do first'
Why take it out, just jack it up and inspect the piston rod for wetness by moving the boot out the way. If you need a new AGX I've got a set with less than 4000 miles that I removed from my 5th Gen (Cattman AGX/progress) pm me please!
I didn't say that word for word....but 5th and 4th Gen struts(rears) are similar except for the spring perch on the 5th gen is smaller than the 4th. I said I had a Cattman AGX-5 with Progress springs (The struts are all for 4th Gens, but the fronts are modified). KYB doesn't make any AGX for the 5th Gens. So I do have the rears (unmodified) AGX's with less than 4000 miles on them. I hate those 4th upper front strut mounts they're too thin and round out very easily on the strut piston shaft. I've sold and installed the Progress spring set to another 4th Gen Orger and I still have the front and rear struts. The rears are for sale! If it's not leaking at the top shaft seal or selector **** seal, it's not blown. No where else for gas or liquid to leak!
