What do you guys think my I30t is worth????

Ok guys, i'm thinking bout moving onto another car possibly a 5.5 gen max. I've got a 99 i30t with 2001 DEK swap. Everything is documented. The motor had 4,256 miles originally when i installed it into the car. Now it has just over 40k miles. I have ksport coilovers, vafcII, aem uego wideband, alpine 9886 HU, 2 12" type s alpine subs, mrpm500 amp. injen intake, nx wet kit, msd8969 digital window switch, DR Mod, DMH e-cutout, cattman catback, budget y-pipe......here are some pics. please tell me what you would consider fair for this car. thanks

car is on stock wheels as of right now and i'll post them in the next reply b/c of the 5 pic per post rule

Whatever blue book is for your actual milage, minus some for the engine swap, and minus more for the nitrous.

You asked for opinions. Most people don't pay for mods. I would ask why the engine was replaced, that is a red flag right their. Nitrous says the car has been driven hard. People will look for any excuse to get a price down. I suggest selling off all the mods and bringing the car back as close to stock as possible. That will net you the biggest profit, and is how I sell all my cars.

well first off, i got the car back in 2004. I hydrolocked the engine thanks to the injen cold-air intake in a very heavy rain storm. I figured i would replace it with a extremely low mileage dek engine because it about the same price as the regular DE was. Now yes the car does have nitrous and yes i've sprayed it but that doesn't mean i strictly beat the **** out of my car. y do you think i have the msd8969 window switch? to kill the spray before the factory rev limiter as well as cut off before the tranny shifts as to not overheat and kill the transmission. i understand the car has a lot of mods and if someone doesn't want them i will part them out but i would like to keep everything together at least for now because its easier.

He's not saying anything about you personally or your reasons for the mods. He's strictly stating that to an average buyer who knows nothing about you or your driving habits, let alone an enthusiast, an engine swap and nitrous often lead to the perception that the car has taken a beating. It is the concept of what a potential buyer would perceive when valuing the car given what it currently has, regardless of what you tell them, that's all.

you are going to get less money with the nitrous. Swapping a motor, yes, it means its a new motor, but since its not original, you're not going to get the same price. You've asked us what its worth, i think that mtrai hit it right on point.

Why so defensive? You didn't say 'Please only give me positive opinions on what you think my car is worth'.

Where did I say your car was beat to ****? Please, find it and quote me. I said, and I quote, 'Nitrous says the car has been driven hard'. That doesn't look anything like the words you are trying to put into my mouth. Two other people have come along and backed up what I said. Maybe you should take it to heart rather than taking it personal? YOU are the one that asked for opinions. Don't get all butthurt, it's just the internet.

Its value is dependent upon who buys the car. If it's someone on here who appreciates your mods, they may increase the value over KBB. If you sell it to some random person you should remove all mods that indicate the car was ever abused. Either way, you'd probably get the most money by parting it out then selling it.

BTW, do you have pics of your exhaust cutout? I've been trying to get one to fit under my car for years but haven't gotten it to work. If you decide to part the car, I could take your cutout off your hands LMK if you have pics of how it fits...

+1

If you try to sell it anywhere but on the org I'd definatly say remove the n20. I think you could get a good amount with everything still on it here on the org.
