ignition coil location #4

Hi boys,
I have to replace ignition coil #4 and was wondering where it is on the engine. I did look through all mechanical info for the how to's section. The plug on it is not coming off....I was told #4 is toward the back of the engine in the middle of the 3....can someone tell me where exactly it is? Pics? and if the plug on it is a bi*** to pull off....
Thanks for the answer on this. I;m saving myself $60. on paying my friend to do it when I was told it's very simple to do....
Thanks again.

Middle cylinder is correct, but front bank, not rear.

You've got those green spring clips, correct? I hate those things. Push the green tab inwards (towards the coil) until it locks, then pull the connector off of the coil. Remove the 2 8mm head bolts, then just throw the new coil in.

FWIW I've got some front coils for sale for cheap

Hi, and thanks very much for the reply, so I can get this done...anyway, the one I pulled is directly between the strut towers, the middle one. Is that right or wrong? Someone actually engraved "3" on it....Thanks again

The rear one? Again, it's the front bank, middle that's cylinder #4. Check out the diagram above. Rear middle is cylinder 3.

The front and rear coils look somewhat alike, just the shape of the top of the coil is different because of how they're mounted.

These are the front coils:

Check this page, it's got some pics that will help you - http://www.infinitihelp.com/diy/i/pr...eplacement.htm

DONE!!! Engine is sputtering anymore now... Going to road test now. I know these things go one after the other, so if you have new ones for sale, let me know and I will replace as they go.Let me know. Thanks again for your help, illustrations and patience for helping a mechanically DECLINED person. I will remember your screename for further tech questions if I can't find my answer.
btw, I paid $100.25 at the dealer today for 1 coil!!! But I know aftermarket ones suck. You pay half the $$$, but they last half the time.
Thanks

Holy hell, $100?

I would've just bought used ones on here. The 99's are known for coil pack problems. Mine aren't new, but they work just fine.

Brand new OE coils from Courtesy are ~$84 a piece, probably cheaper through Dave B. But for how cheap you can get them here, and how easy they are to change, I wouldn't buy a new coil.
