I did some searching on this topic but came up short so far. Anyway my friend has a 99 Maxima and the driver side door wont unlock when you use either the key fob or the key itself. The other three doors unlock and lock just fine and you can physically open them, but the drivers side does nothing. I tried opening it from the inside and it the lock wont budge. Anyone have an idea what this could be? Thanks in advance for any information that would be helpful to resolve the problem.

It could just be frozen up. Did it just stop working one day? Temperature related?

I think it has been like that a few days now. It was colder around here the last couple of days with temps in the teens or 20's, but today being in the 40's and significantly warmer she thought it would open up and it might have been temperature related. To be honest from what I have seen it looks like something is seriously stucked. The lock **** next to the lever won't budge almost like it's glued shut. Lever is fine and outside door handle is fine.
