throwout bearing

My throwout bearing went in my clutch. I just had it replaced a little over a year ago. What would cause it to go again? The metal tabs on side of bearing were bent and broken. Should I replace the spring on the back of the release fork as well? I wasn't sure it that has anything to do with the short lifespan of my throwout bearing. Thanks.

The spring clip on the back of the clutch fork is only there to keep it on place on the pivot ball.

What sort of clutch are you using? Is it an extremely heavy pressure plate? Spend a lot of time idling with the clutch in?

Any pics of the TOB?

I have a Spec stage 2 clutch. No I don't hold clutch in while idling. I feel I am a decent driver but I do have friends that borrow my car sometimes. I'll see if I can get a pic of the TO bearing
