Egr gasket forgotten after intake manifold assembly?

Hello I took off the intake manifold on my 95 se to replace the injector. After everything was done and I backed up the car there was a little metal type gasket with the round hold in the middle and one hole on each side for the bolts. Its definately a egr gasket of some type. On the rear of the manifold there were 2 bolts(support bolts) to the left and then there were 2 rear bolts(close to the tb) that held the egr (pick up tube?)..is there a gasket here that could have fell out? Thanks in advance.

You nailed it. The EGR tube to manifold gasket is exactly what you are missing.

Then you will possibly have a large vacuum leak.

Not necessarily, but possibly.

You don't need to redo the entire job, just removed the EGR pipe and clean off the gasket mating surfaces. This will give you a chance to clean out that EGR tube, which cloggs up all the time.
