maxima weight - 5spd vs auto

Im wondering what the weight dif is in the 5spd tranny vs the auto, taking into consideration the weight of flywheel/clutch vs torque converter. I wonder if one is a bit lighter because different maxima's with the same suspension set up dont sit as low in the front.

I have a 5spd and dont want my car to have more wheel gap in the front. I have subs and stuff in the trunk. And the springs im looking at are eibach, progress, h tech, and tokico.

Thanks for the input,
Matt

The 5MT weight less than the 4AT, that's a given.

Maybe a 100 pounds, give or take.

If you search around, you'll see that sometimes people put the 5MT front springs on their auto cars to give it a slight drop.

yeah I figured it was lighter..found out by accidently putting auto springs on my 5spd..car looks gay up front, lol. Are the spring's expected drop based on the weight of the 5spd or auto?

Call up one of the companies, they should be able to tell you.

I'd imagine the auto, since they're far more common. That and the companies may not take into account the weight difference.
