Is it my starter???

So, I get gas. I'm all full and ready to leave. I try to start my Max and all I get is click, click, click, click. I know it's hard to know for sure but this sure sounds like starter trouble, doesn't it?

It could also be a battery problem. When the battery does not have enough charged then it does not have enough energy to crank the starter. Sometimes it just clicks and sometimes nothing. Now the weather is getting cold, a weak battery that was still ok to start a car in the summer starting to show the problem.

Since this is the easiest, I would check the battery first. Try jump start the car. You can check if the battery has at least 12 volt between the pos and neg terminal even though that is not the best way to check a battery. You can also bring the battery to autoshop or Sears to check the battery.
