Is this a good way to get at the EGR valve tube?

Aright. I was doing my simple(overrated to be hard) inner tie rods the other day and I happen to look up and I see the EGR valve and tube about a foot and a half away. My question is...

Has anyone ever done this? It looks like cake to get too with a lift. (I am at my uncles garage) And it looks like I can get it with some effort instead of doing it the way that I have seen people do it here and that is taking off the whole top intake pellum, Throttle body and a whole slew of other things. ha, screw that.

It seems like I have a decent shot at it. Tell me what can I expect. And I guess I just clean the tube with a hanger wire right? IIRC when I looked it up a while back they said the bolt would be rusted and the carbon will be hard as a rock in the tube.

EGR malfunction error po325 irrc. SES light comes on and goes off 50,200,500 miles.

I have a lift. I have cleaned out more than several of these tubes.

Never lifted the second on up in the air. After looking at the first one, I could not see any advantage to it. At all. Your results may vary however.
