Okay,first of all,sorry if someone has already answered these, I tried searching from here and google but wasn't satisfied with answers.

So. I got these Volvo FH16 (truck) Xenon projectors from work for free.They are single beam about 2.75" , in the bulb reads H9 and in the projector D2S. I was going to order Cefiro one piece headlights as I have I30,and retrofit them. So first question, as these projectors are single beam,it would be murder to put bi-xenon H4s in them,right? They would go in with few slices with dremel. Now I started to think,maybe I use these Volvo projectors just as low beams,and order those Valeo high beam projectors as they are pretty cheap. Or should I just order bi-xenon projectors straight away? Or start dremeling those Volvo projectors and put those H4 bixenons in,then modify the glare shield inside.

If I modified those Volvo projectors I should probably go with those moving H4 xenons and make such a glare shield that doesnt block high beams when bulb has moved. Sorry if you have hard time understanding what I wrote,Im from Finland so I may have few mistakes in my grammar. I'll send pics of the Volvo projectors if it makes things easier.

 

i don't think the moving bulb will work as a high beam option because single xenon projectors have a different lens than hi/lo. the easiest thing would be to put a bi xenon projector in and since you live in europe it shouldn't be hard to find a bmw or audi at a junkyard to pull those off.

 

I would buy a new set of bi-xenon projectors. The look of a single projector in cefiro headlights is awesome. It makes the Maxima/I30 much more aggressive w/one projector vs. two seperate projectors.
