VQ intake support bracket

Before I start the quest of replacing my valve cover gaskets, I would like to know what the bolt size of the back intake supports are?

This way I can go buy the correct offset wrench, to make my life a little easier tomorrow.

Anymore suggestions before I undertake this task would be greatly appreciated.

Robert

12mm head size.

A short 12mm socket on a 3/8" ratchet or a 12mm ratchet wrench is all you need. They're not that difficult to get to...

Good deal. I might decide to clean the TB, EGR tube(maybe), and intake plenum itself.

I noticed their is some residue in the plenum, when I cleaned the tb butterfly the other day.

Whats the best way to clean the intake plenum without dipping it?

Lots of brake parts cleaner, and a rag or a toothbrush.

Thanks for the suggestion. I used 2 cans and didn't get it all.

When I undid the egr tube, it was almost completely clogged on top. I didn't bother to take it off the car to check the bottom, because I didn't have another gasket.
