Window regulator

I was messing around with my rear window because when i purchased the car it didn't work. So after about thirty minutes of messing with it it started back working.Well I sprayed it with lubricant and let it sit over night , well now its not working again. I was trying to get the whole assembly out but its near impossible to remove with the window in the up position. Has anyone else had to remove the assembly while the window was up?

Take the hole winodw out. Theres 2 screws screwed to the bottum of the window. Then move it up, and out. Most likely whats wrong with it, its the rubber gear, it must be broken, I have 2 regulaters that had the same problem, I just rigged them, so one of them works just like it did before the problem, and the other I kinda messed up, and it goes really slow, but it still rolls up and down.
