OIL lamp questions
I was just driving today (normal highway city driving) then all of a sudden the oil lamp came on. It kind of dim, but it's on. I do have the FSM, but it's at home, and I'm at school; so can anyone help me with this problem.
Did a oil change about 1500 miles ago.
Checked the oil level, and it's perfectly fine. Also confirmed it with a friend.
No noticeable running issues with my car.
No smoke out of the exhaust.
Nothing unusual.
Please help.

It's possible the sending unit has started to fail. It's basically just a NO switch to ground.
For $10 and 15 minutes of work, I'd try that first. You could always ohm out the current one, but not really worth the effort.
