I paid $40 for mine and it will work just as well. That one sure looks cool but not $230 worth!

BUT, if you were to put the exact same car in a show together one had the $30 FSTB, and the other had the FSTB shown above. Tell me who would win? If I had the money I would get that beefy unit. I don't so I'll stick with the Stillen......
(just my viewpoint)

Stick with the $40-60 dollar range FSB. Unless you like the looks and can spend >200. It also looks heavier.

For what it is, it's not overpriced. Costs a whole lot more to make that one than it does to make a $40 one. I know APR sells something similar (although not for our cars) and it's over $200 even when it's sold at a discount. I may pick up one of those in the future, but I think I'll let my bank account recover from my current round of mods first.

I believe the '99's have a bracket on one of the strut towers that interferes with the FSTB. I know this was a problem with some other strut bars. I think you have to grind off the bracket and everything fits fine.

Man that thing is FUGLY! I don't know why anyone would pay that much for it, unless it looks better in real life. You couldn't pay me to put that on my car, I'd rather use a 2x4.

For the price I would rather get the 40 -60 dollar one and use the cash on a few other mods instead of spending it all in one place.
