Searching would have told you everything that you need to know. But the eibachs would be better as far as quality goes.

It's really a matter of personal preference and what you want out of your car. I prefer H&R's but to make the decision I'd find some Maxima's in your area with different suspensions and get a ride.

why not lower than 1.5? just wondering.. theres a big gap between the 18's and fender like a good 3 inches maybe 3.5 so it wouldnt even be close to rubbing.. but i dont know how the gr2's will hold up to a 2 inch drop..

Because Maximas do not have that much suspension travel to begin with, and any lower than 1.5" and you risk bottoming out.

Not to mention a pretty rough ride (unless you get some real expensive coilovers)

Because you wont have any strut travel unless you want to go with shortened Konis, but since you are looking at $90 springs and $200 struts I dont think you want to spend $300+ on front inserts or $700+ on coilovers. Hows that for a run on sentence
Anyhow it sounds like you're on a budget. It will take too much work to drop 2" correctly. Just trust me, dont go lower than 1.5".

i didnt even know megan racing made springs... theres sumthin new for my knowledge...

idk how they would hold up with the gr2's but i wouldnt recommend pairing up the eibach springs with gr2's either...

eibach is prolly the closest thing to coilovers without them actually being coilovers... i would suggest an adjustable shock for these springs...

if u want sumthin that would pair nicely with the gr2's then go with the h&r's or tein h-tech's...

holy crap, i have kyb gr2's and the ground control kit on eibach springs, surprisngly after hearing everyone say NOT to do it i still went ahead and gave it a try. it still runs smooth and is not much bumper at all i've had them on for 6 months already and its still running perfect. its dropped all the way down as well.
