Weird Chassis sound?
Maxie is getting old. She's making all kinds of sounds!!!
New one seems to be like birds chirping from the back. It only does it when moving. In the beginning, it was only on bumps, now it seems to be all the time. Not sure what it is. Any ideas?

I know that squeak well, both of my 4th gens have/had it. I haven't figured it out yet, but it does sound like a swaybar squeak. My current car has an aftermarket bar and the old one didn't. Same squeak.
its VERY uncommon for the rear swaybars to make any kind of sound on these cars, but you never know.
get a vid or maybe a few more details. Is it ALL the time, after driving for a while, cold, hot. Is it worse under any certain road conditions?
Steps to solve your chirping trunk issue.
1) Look around in your trunk for the bird nest. I know it may seem crazy but if you look hard enough I'm sure you'll find a nest of baby birds in your trunk.
2) You have two options:
- (A) Just throw the nest away, killing the baby birds
- (B) Place the nest in a safe location and raise them as your own children.
3) Enjoy the chirp free ride!
Seriously though, Assuming you've made sure all trunk items are secure, I'd jack up the car and check all of the rubber bushings in the rear end area. It's always a rubber piece that has deteriorated causing metal to slightly rub other metal causing the chirps.
