Mystery weather stripping off of Sunroof

Was wiping my sun roof down after a quick detail, the internals and rails.

I went to wipe the rear side of the sun roof from the top, scooped my towel-wrapped hand in there and this piece of weather stripping/wiper blade.

I dont know how to put it back.

Finish what was bolded because I don't understand the problem. You don't even have a question.

No, thats fine. It was either in between the glass and the roof of the car, or between the glass and the sliding blind.

Its a thing piece that looks like its off a wiper blade, and it has a along one side to be inserted over a ridge/edge.

It could be the rear drainage plate, but...

Same thing happend to my 99. Not sure what that piece does, but it doesn't seal anything. Also it's glued in place.
