Polishing Vortech SC

I just need to know if I can send the blower to Vortech to get it polished, or if I can just take it to my local polishing shop. I'm not sure I want the local guys messing it up or getting crap inside the blower itself.

You might want to hit up the muscle car forums. I've seen polished everything on those types of cars.

I agree with Jeff. Try any place that works on refurnishing old cars and stuff like that. I am sure they can do it with any problems

You can order the kit from Stillen with

the polished blower option. Stillen usually don't stock the SC kit. They are made to order, so as long you tell them you want it polished. They will charge you like $200 more and get it from Vortech.

What kind of local places do polishing? I mean is it like a jewel type place that does polishing and also how do they do it? I like that pic up above this but do they coat it or something? Is it something you could do yourself?

haha, you are nuts Tony. It does look good though. That is going to look really nice when you put it back on.

It's on the car now, but I'm still not getting firm pressure. I even installed speedbleeders in all four calipers. I'm going home tonight and bleed some more. Maybe there just some air bubbles being trapped somewhere upstream I haven't able to get rid of.

you can polish the blower yourself. It is easy but takes time to and understanding to get it to shine!......I have a 2k 929 and polished the whole bike myself.
