They're actually very bright since the wattage is higher then stock. Stock harness, no re-wiring, no problem so far.

PIAA's are warrantied for life. So for 80 bucks (you can find them cheaper) you've got headlights for life. My PIAA's are 8 years old and still going strong. Well worth the $$ I spent on them. Still have the reciept, so if they go, I get a new set!

has nebody used the (9004) silverstar headlights w/ the silverstar fog lights?
they seem like the best bulbs for the stock harness other than the PIAA's and they are alot less expensive.

Silverstar Bulbs
I have a 5.5 gen, and I used the Silverstar bulbs for my fogs a few times. They're brighter than stock, but not by much. I just got new lamp assemblies because mine both cracked a while ago, and I'm sick of them looking crappy and burning out every four months. I think they definitely offer a decent improvement in terms of performance (brighter when you're driving), but they don't LOOK a whole lot different than the stock bulbs. I'm thinking about getting PIAAs to get a closer match to the HIDs. Anybody have any suggestions for a good match?

Anyone have anything to say about Hoen H3s with the 5.5 gen HIDs?
