Replacing both rear view mirrors.

Someone ripped both off, one was completely pulled out and the other was dangling by the wires in my 98 max. Seeing as the car is 10 years old I don't have collision so I'm going to have to pay for this out of pocket. What would be my best bet? Buying the mirrors on ebay then taking them to a shop was a buddies recommendation but I want to make sure thats the smartest choice

The same thing happen to mine and my mirror was dangling and i drilled out the broken bolts and put new ones and reinstalled the mirror. But other wise you can get them from a junk yard or somewhere else.

Yes, I think that the only two places that you would find them would be at a junkyard or somewhere else

If you're going for the most cost-effective way, get them from the classifieds on here, or eBay as has been said, then just do it yourself. It's not that difficult at all to replace them, even for your first time or the less mechanically inclined.

Get a set of heated mirrors for under $100. Have them painted for $30-40 tops. Install. Enjoy.
