The more you use them as in the more you apply them in any given situation? Or the more often you use them over a period of time?

Do you have ABS? Did you not replace the brake hoses? If you did the master cylinder and all of the calipers, you should've done the hoses at the same time.

If you're slamming on the brakes and they lock up, then your problem isn't mechanical, it's driver error...

when i apply the brakes. if i stopped at five stop lights applying the brake, by the 5th light the wheels will be locking up. there are all new hose's on there as well. problem is definitely mechanical. i'm thinking something is not releasing when brakes are applied. trying to get idea where to start looking.

By the time your wheels are locking up, is acceleration suffering? Does the brake pedal get harder to push?

yes. thats exactly what happens, both the loss of acceleration and pedal hardens.

I really dont know much, outside the calipers/rotor area, but it sounds to me like the power brake pump is going. You know how when you turn the car off, and pump the brakes and it gets stiff and locks up? It does that because the car isnt on, when you do turn it on, the pressure is released. Well it sounds exactly like that, just with the car being on...

Change the hoses on both sides. What has happened the fluid go go in the caliper but can't come back out due to a blockage. Over time the inside of the hose breaks down and chuncks of material get caught in them.

I posted without fully reading. I gave a suggestion that I knew could be the problem. My bad.
