Corner light replacement

I know this answer is here somewhere but I can't find it. I am trying to replace my corner lights but the darn lense doesn't want to come off. Maybe my searching skill are all wrong.

I took out the screw at the top but I can't get the bottom attachement out (that ball joint looking thing).

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Just yank it out of there. That's all it is, a ball and socket joint.

Get a large screwdriver, problem solved.

FWIW this has been covered hundreds of times.

That sucker is a ***** to get out, I broke one of the mounting posts with the ball joint on it.

A large screwdriver should do the trick, but its really just using a lot force

when you pull it out, you need force to pull it, but at the same time make sure you dont damage it along the way, as stated above a flat head is very useful

It took me forever to figure it out the first time. Now I do it in 2 seconds. Just like it was mentioned take long flat-head screwdriver and gently pry out the connecting part thingy (not sure what exactly is called ).

from my experience, gently start to pry it out starting at the top, moving to the bottom getting it lose, then put some force on the bottom to pop it out, try not to put too much force on the plastic, but more on the inside/housing.
