there's 3 wires (red, green, black) coming from the projector solenoid to a small controller board which has only 2 wire connector (pwr, grnd) on the other end.

can that middle controller be bypassed by simply running a butt connector between the red and green wire (solenoid side) and power wire (light harness side) and then black2black or...do i need that little controller for some (what?) reason.
i'd try and do it but don't want to fry the solenoid in case it's not recommended.
