Does your Modded 4th gen attract too much attention?

I have been royally f**ked over by cops here in the past month and it seems like they are hunting down my car and people who fit the category ie. drug dealers with their pimped out cars.

they (the cops) told me a month ago i ran a stop sign, when i deffinately stopped and had a witness.

the other night i spent the night in jail because they told me i was drunk and driving. You wanna know my Blood Alcohol Conent? .008 not .08, .008 thats about a half a beer. regaurdless i had to spend the night in jail.

i just feel like cops target my car. wanted to know who else feels victim to this about their 4th gen

Nope, and yours looks stock compared to mine.

I would assume this would be dependent on the area you live in. In a college town there are tons of ricers so I get less attn.

Do you have a loud exhaust? Get rid of it. Loud music? Turn it down.

You gotta draw less attn to yourself. Regardless of what you drive.

You would think my Vortech supercharger would attract a lot of attention as well, it's not exactly quite , but I have only been pulled over once, because I forgot to put my new tabs on.

It's not the car that attracts the attention, but rather the driver who operates it.

Seriously people.....

it's not the car - it's you...meaning your skin color, your face and attitude, your driving technique, the time of night and area you drive etc.

i get pulled over most friday nights when i'm on my way home from work (usually just after 2am). got pulled over last friday and the cop had nothing to say about my blue corner lights or loud music or loud intake or being lowered etc - just thought i was another drunk driver.

True. Definitely depends on the driver & your actions while driving. Even despite my skin color, don't have many issues at all. I drive my 4th gen often here in NY & very seldom get much attention. Every now & then cops will look at me in the car & occasionally I get compliments from them on it but nothing like when I first modded the max. And no attention of that kind w/ 3rd gen.

Agreed +11001309309

It's always the people who drive like @ssholes swerving in and out of lanes and cutting people off who get pulled over.

I used to have the same proble. Drove a 89 Integra (Red) that wasn't too rice, but had some nice mods and used to come home from work on Friday and Saturday nights at 3 AM. It got to be a regular thing getting pulled over.

Always got let go once they heard my story and saw I was sober, but it was ahuge hastle.

I started driving the exact route home so the guys would get used to me and quit pulling me over.

why not? racial profiling came from the cops...and they're the ones pulling people over. i don't want to start a discussion on that but when dealing with cops the skin color predetermines how you'll be treated from the start.
regardless keep your *** clean, cooperate and have your paperwork ready and most of the time all you'll get is a warning (or maybe i'm just lucky).

Lol. Ya dude your car looks almost stock with some rims. It's gotta be you. Mine is lowered with rims. There arn't to many modded cars around where I live though so the cops give you the 'eye' about every time you pass one but as long as you are driving between the lines and going the speed limit idk why you would get pulled over.

Speaking of too much attention, I got pulled over for having my plates in the wrong place. The tabs are supposed to be in the rear and the plate without tabs in the front............................................. ...... at least it got a LOT of attention when I got pulled over near school

Guess I shouldn't have been driving so slow or the cop wouldn't have had time to see my plates so clearly
