anyone have this problem??

Today when i back out from my friend's shop. they heard some kind of clicking noise from under my hood, so we want to found what casue the noise. We had the hood up and i keep driving forward and back , finally we found the noise was came from the steering wheel. Whenever i turn the wheel left or right, it will make a clicking noise it sound like a relay is kicking. and the idle will increase slightly, it only about 100 or less. i never notice this problem nor i can hear it from inside my max. i only can hear it when i have my hood up and a quiet environment. Have anyone have the same problem , please let me know

I'm pretty sure thats normal since my car does it too...its not an annoying sound, or a sound that signals something is wrong, just a click noise when the wheel is turned.

The increase in rpm when turning your steering wheel is normal... the PS pressure sensor sends a signal to the ECM to raise the idle when the PS pump puts some drag on the engine when the PS is in use.
