Okay...Im confused. I called Nissan and a local parts store and got different answers. Exactly how many motor mounts are on a 96 SE? I need to replace all of them. How much should i expect to pay for them and how much do you think labor would be to have them installed. Thank you!

The same as any other FWD VQ, 3 motor mounts.

What were the different answers you got?

Labor is going to change from shop to shop. Without knowing exactly what they're going to charge you for hours, how much per hour, and what for shop supplies, we could never know. Have you thought about...actually calling a few shops to see?

How much to pay for them, that also depends on where you get them from. Looking for OE replacement or poly?

The dealer told me 2 mounts and the parts store said 3. I guess the dealer was trippin. Thanks for the input.

The dealer is most likely referring to the only 2 mounts that need replacement with any sort of regularity, the two on the crossmember.

you really are only going to have to change the two middle motor mounts because those are the only motor mounts that do all the work. the tranny mount and the other mount dont really do anything. and you should go with the energy suspension inserts, I got them in my car and they are the s***.

i agree on the energy suspension mounts. they are nice.. i wanna get the inserts for the tranny mount as well, but no one sells them
