Yea it will prob be a week or two before i can clean the car.
don't like se white faced gauges, if anything, i would get AE gauges.
Smoked wood = $130. So if i get a surplus of cash I will get it but I doubt it

Are you talking about the 2001 AE gauges? those are the Shiznit! I have them in my car. Its a lot of work to do the conversion but well worth it. 4th gen analog gauges suck IMO.. Even with LEDS.

The film sits on the top of the water, and you dip you item and it attaches to it as its dipped.
Google hydrodipping and check out the vids of the process.
I had my interior trim done in this stuff a while back.
Can be applied to any item that can be submerged in water. It's nothing like 3m vinyl.

Na, they have hits for 100 bucks with the film. But I plan on buying only the film and the activator spray then let a bodyshop clear the parts for me.

Buyers beware, local pick up recommended. Slow to ship out items already paid for.

Was the carpet molded good? I replaced the carpet in my old car with a molded carpet and it was bunched up in the back the part under the rear seat thats still shown.
From what company did you ordered the carpet ? I want to replace the carpet in my 2k1 and was shopping online and found this place:

I got my carpet from there and if you google rockauto coupon code, you will find 5% off. I got mine when they were on sale for 100.

I think the burl wood color will look best with your interior. Stay away from the carbon fiber IMO the pattern won't match your interior. I would love to see how this turns out. Seems like a pretty simple process once you get the hang of it.

I ended up getting the CF
I got it for MUCH cheaper and I think it should look good good. Another reason I got the cf is that I can do some other parts of the car and maybe some of my friend's vehicles. If I don't like it, then I will get the burlwood later on.

Just came in today

Another wheel pic.
My only complaint about the steering wheel cover is that it doesn't go all the up to the edge of the airbag module. I think It kind of looks funny that they left it half way and didn't cover that area. Other than that it looks great.

I am second guessing the CF. I think I will get the black marble/burlwood.
With the CF, I have to get the pattern 100% perfect for the entire dash to look good, if I am off by 1mm then the entire pattern will be off and at an angle. But with the black wood/marble I have much more leeway on how the pattern looks on the trim pieces and it all still looking good.

Yea, only way to make it look better is to make your own shape out of leather hide. But I don't think I could stitch the 2 tone so it would have to be an all black one.

If you are happy with it thats all that matters. I was really pointing out why I wouldn't get the wheel skins.
The other thing you can always do is have it professionally re wrapped.

so i was thinking about doing this to my 5th gen, but instead of painting, replacing the brown pieces with a black maxima interior and leaving the the bottom tan, any thoughts on how to take the door panels apart or will i destroy my whole car
