CLOCK is dead
Recently my clock has not switched on when I start my car. Only after hitting the top of it does it only sometimes go on, and when it does, I have to reset it. My mom's 90 SE did this too. Im wondering if there is anything I can re-seat or replace to fix this on my 96 or do I just have to cope with it.
thanks

if the fuse doesn't fix it - it sounds like a loose wire or connection. Reomove the assembly with the clock and the two vents. It just pulls straigh out. Once you have access behind the clock check the connection - don't just see if it's tight unclip it and make sure there's no corrosion on the terminals. You can also reomove the clock from the console piece if you think something is loose on the clocks circuit board.
