my bother has a 1995 grand am 5 speed with the quad 4 and a k&n air filter. do you think my max will beat him (95 auto v6 3000 with catback exuast and k&n air filter thats all the mods i have.)or what can i do do gain horsepower cheap.

 

I think youll deffinatly smoke him. I have a 95 max with exhaust and k&N filter, and i reaced a 2000 grand am, he had me at the start but i caught up around second. You should have no prob. (maybe it was the driver thought) but good luck.

actually the quad four is a highly modifiable engine. That is waht is in the beretta I believe. those engines can handle a lot of boost.

FYI, if your brother can drive his quad 4 he's actually gonna hand you your ***. I've seen them running 13.8s all motor at the track, and 15.2s stock, thats faster than any stock and 99% of modded auto maximas.

 

You should beat him unless his car has been modified a whole lot beyond what you mentioned.
