Problems because of modding

Has anyone ever had problems because of certain mods, that you wouldn't have had if you had not gotten that certain mod??

Please list mod and problem caused.

Sprints...

My whole damn car rattles because of those Springs! NEVER again will I drop a car with the harshest but lowest springs. And I don't even think it looks that good!

Yeah, both of those plus new low profile tires are making the ride pretty harsh.

Also, I set off too many alarms with my exhaust

OOOh yeah I cut my front intrax springs and have the front shocks tight all the way and everyitime I hit a bump my fuse box cover falls off and my new cd player skips. But after all that I love it looks good and rides great on the highway. We all know that dropped maximas still rule

Nope...

I didn't take them out. I'm not going to take them out either - the car feels much more stable when cornering at high speeds. It takes away that "floaty" Maxima suspension. Anyways, yeah I hate the fuse box thing! The f*cking thing falls off all the time and it looks embarrasing like my car is falling apart (which it isn't yet...). I am going to duck tape the damn thing on! Hey GREG (CustomMaxima.com), can you design a fuse-box cover than doesn't come off easily? It would be a great mod!

Re: Nope...

How are you guys having your fuse box cover fall off? Mine's never fallen off and my car is slammed on ground controls and 19" wheels. The ground controls ride harsher than the sprints.

As for a fuse box that doesn't come off, I don't think Greg can make that part. Making plastic parts takes a lot of money. Plus very few people have problems with something like that. Just build your own clip for it or something. Or use some double sided tape.

Every mod I have ever put in my car either made it faster or better looking. No regrets at all.

maybe try using a velco strip for the fuse box? that way you can still open it up when you want

If you are going to use angelfire then you need to rename your image and make it a .gif file instead of a .jpg file. That is the only way I have found that it doesn't give me problems with images that I post on other sites.

one time the side piece of one of my clear corners fell off when I was racing. Chirped 'em in second and heard it hit the ground... of course I didn't know what the noise was til the next morning when I saw a wire sticking out where my clear corner was supposed to be...but its ok I found it and put it right back on. Also..I won the race- 80's Trans Am

jealousy from haters, they dont have anything and make fun of something bc you have it, cant stand em, at least no ones done anything to my car, just words like "i dont like your wheels" from some guy who has a stock pos old car, that would be a problem

Go to Autozone and get some foam to put around it to make the fit tighter. I had this problem when I first got my clears on my old 96 and the foam fixed it right up.
