LED Gen 2 Altezza's Skylined!
Just finished these up the other day and thought I'd post pics for another led tail light alternative..
Quick how to:
Bake open @200 for about 10 mins.
Place Ice tea lid inside the lens
Paint with krylon Fusion or whatever
Bake back together
Wipe off any excess adhesive with WD40 on a microfiber

those look tight, i did sorta the same thing. I have the same taillights, but i made the mistake and painted the whole light, i got some of the paint off though so you can see the red reflectors since i kept gettin harrassed by the cops

There's no red reflectors in the centers. We're talking about painting the chrome reflector black. The red reflector wil still show since it'll be untouched.

Your right! It would look sweet..
Actually, I was planning to retro a set of these into the outside centers and something similar on the insides for backup lights but I just got lazy and wanted to get them done. These are a bish to open up without cracking the cheap plastic..
Thanks for the compliments.

Looks great man. I've always wanted to paint mine body color but now, they are just sitting in the garage. Just might take up the project.
Post pics. Interested in seeing them.

Will snap a pic when going out on lunch.. I got a new spray gun and plan on re-shooting them for Deeper Candy look when i get my lip kit put on...
Here some quick cell phone pics while headin to lunch... Prob a love/hate for most. But i like the different look, especially sense im goin for non traditional look to include my IonicDynamics Classic style kit thats waiting for paint and large style wheels to follow..
