NEXEN N5000 OPINIONS PLEASE!!!

So i just lowered my car and my tires are about shot already.. I am having to by a slightly smaller tire to avoid some rubbing and the fact that im almost on slicks. Anyway. i found a local tire shop that has really good prices on several different tires. The ones that im looking at now are the nexen N5000 (245/40/18) with 4 wheel allignment and nitrigen filled... out the door for $590.33. Not a bad price considering its lifetime balance and rotations, and they will honor the 50,000 mileage warrenty. I want to know if any one on here has ran these tires or if anyone has any experience on these. Good or bad let me know. Thanks for the advice yall.

PS. I have read alot of reviews and they are mixed. I put about 150 miles a day on my car, so longevity is important. I do not race my car. (unless there is an obnoctios fart can that i need to just leave behind me) so its mostly highway driving... Thanks again.

A friend of mine had them on his GTO. They held up pretty well. There were decent in rain and the wear didnt seem bad considering he did some dragracing and a few donuts/burnouts on occasion lol. Id say go for it. Seems to be a pretty good price.

I've got a set of these on my 1997 Maxima SE. I've had them about 20k miles and they have held up well. They are quiet with good traction even in wet or snowy conditions. The only thing that I don't like is that they are directional and I can't cross rotate.

I replaced my Kumho Solus tires with the N5000's since they were cheaper but think they handle better than the Kumho's. I have the standard size 215 55r16.

Have you shopped around on those tires. I know discount in my area always beats prices when I bring them in (even web deals). They also seem to have locations everywhere. I thought I saw those tires online for like 430 for 4 of them? So mount, balance, nitrogen, and warranty seem high in your price......

extra $160 for mount, balance, alignment and lifetime rotation is a good price. but some people dont need the rotation part of it, but that alignment is crucial and i know locally thats a $50-80 price tag on it, which would put that at about $80-110 mount balance price...

i have a place that does mount and balance (they dont align) for dirt cheap but at most big name tire places thats a good/great price

missed the alignment, Are you sure they said 4 wheel align and not just mount and balance. That would be heluva deal with alignment.
