Yeah I think the rivets and the mesh should be painted black or white, it'll stand out much more and won't look just like regular metal

People ask oppinons, casue well.. Their supposed to want an honest oppinon. In that aspect their all very screwed when others dont like it. But its their car, so it doesnt matter right?

Well look around fellow Org'ers, every single person on here whos got a super nice maxima that not Unique in some way has done their car up the Same way. Usually. By Throwing Money At It.

Weather it be Cosmetically or Performance Wise. Its All The Same. What we Need. Is more Creative Minds. Im tired of everyone talking and reading about these STUPID CAI'S and These Y-Pipes off Ebay. The Stillen Lip Kit. What Happened to making Your Own Stuff, DOING IT YOURSELF. MAKE SOMETHING OF YOUR OWN!~

Who cares How Ghetto It Is! Performance PWNS Cosmetics Of ANY item ANY DAY.

He likes his grill. I hate it. Does that mean he should take it off? No. it means he should reasses weather hes trying to Please the Org or if he really likes it.

this is not Allens 10 Minutes of fame, this is his 100 Post Beating! and hes taking it Damn Well. So why not give credit where its due. he did this Himself, He likes it. And Im POSITIVE that hes not the Only One who does. He did something DIFFRENT so why dont you?
Get real. If you're going to do something yourself make sure it doesnt look like ****.

next on the agenda is the home depo lip and a huge wing because: "maxima without a trunk spoiler looks like it's missing something..."

IMHO, i don't like the bottom grill, the top looks fine if you were to cut out around the hamburger........

I wouldn't doubt you for a second...

I bet you can think of a lot of DIY "mods" to make your car look even worse than it looks right now!

Congrats!!!!!

i like it,if the bottom matched the top or vice versa. i didnt even notice the rivets till attention was called to it, so im not going to judge that because a guy on the street wouldnt even notice it.
voted positive, not for rivets but for the metal mouth look, waiting for matching grill pics

Honestly i dont think it looks that bad. It just needs something i just cant point it out. But then again your talking to a guy that has no exterior mods(minus the maxima.org sticker and the blacked out amber turn signals)

the problem here isn't the vision (no one will ever agree on that), it's the execution. the cutout is unfinished and rivets are just a horrible idea in this application as far as fastening goes. if you used rivets because you thought it would look cool then...

I think it will look good if the mesh matches and you cut out where the nissan emblem should be.

Yeah I agree there is something missing that would pull it all together, but I can't figure it out. Perhaps you could put the 4th Gen trunk M_A_X_I_M_A on the bottom grill and paint it red, and have the mesh be black!

But yet again I am picturing this on my car... and so.... colors might not match up right

same as above + the car is debadged and putting "maxima" on the front would be kinda tacky - imho - like i was proud of driving a 14 year old car with dents and a weathered paint job...when it's just a beater to get me to work and back.

Oh haha, or you can put on the Mustang badge in the front Or the Infinity, or the Mercury or that Nismo thingy haha. For some reason when I picture it in my head a badge in the lower front grill would for some reason make everything FLOW

Maybe after a week or two someone will come up with the perfect solution.

mang, the only thing that would make my car "flow" would be driving it into a river

Please do not put any lettering on it..............

It needs something and i cant quite point it out..... Err it really is bothering me though....... Its just a minor detail that would do it to. nothing flashy or anything like that. Something simple and easy. ahhhhhhhh i just cant think of it.
