Engine fitment question

Hello, I own a 1999 SEL with 247k miles and I was wondering if the '00(DE-K?) engine will be a exact fitment for an engine swap. If not, which parts need to be modified or replaced? Thanks all...

Ok thanks...btw, I did read lots of threads with the DE and DEK engine swaps, but they were talking about other things that were over my head, so I was just wanting a clear response from sum1 so I can tell my mechanic who will be doing the job...

in a nutshell....
use all of your sensors
flip the IACV plug backwards (need to trim the plastic)
adapt fuel lines
splice the injectors clips into your harness

Like it was said. It is possible. You can find all the info on here. But it seems like you will be better off getting a mechanic to do the swap for you. Good luck!
