Alternator ground
Alternator ground
Can someone post a pic of the alternator ground leads to. I can seem to find it. If the alternating current generator is not grounded could that cause the car to draing the battery? I keep switching aternators and the car keeps eating brand new batteries.
The alternator should also ground through the case, I don't imagine a loose or nonexistant ground wire would cause any major issues.
Either way, did you search? I searched 'alternator ground'...

And that's just the very first 4 results.

The alternator grounds right at the points where its mounted to the motor. Did you check the "alternator" fuse under the hood?
Use a multimeter, and measure the voltage when the car is running vs when it isn't running.
