it was'nt affecting the ac at all, just never heard it or noticed it before. possible that the blower motor is just getting older or i may have something jammed in a vent?? does'nt sound like it though. thanks>>> ps, i have a 95 with auto climate control.

 

How did you narrow it down to the AC? Does it make the noise when you have it set to hot? Does it vary with blower motor speed?

Have you tried to pinpoint where the sound is coming from?

 

yes, i turned the a/c on and off, and also adjusted the speed while running it hot and cold. i noticed it with the a/c more. sounds like center of dash more than anything else. i will look in fsm later on today.
