Diffrence between 97 & 98 tail lights???

Diffrence between 97 & 98 tail lights???
I am thinking they are slightly different with the 98's having a small red corner beside the amber portion. Am I right, and are they interchangeable???

From what I've seen they're the same. My aunt parked her 98 right next to my 97. Except that I cleared out my rears, her lights are exact the same.

97-99 heads and tails are exactly the same.

You know, maybe I have just noticed this when they are cleared, so maybe some have taken that side red portion out of it on the bottoms.
