maxima sliding ??

maxima sliding ??

hi i have a 96 gxe maxima amd the problem is when i get bumpi roads it starts to slide from the back not too much but i get afraid and it has almost new tires from 6 month old and when i pass a bump not strait i hear somethig on the back i look at the bottom and nothing is broken what could it be ?

yep, time for an upgrade to gr2's and eibachs. if you were near new jersey id have someone to help you do it, cheap. ebay is your friend, dont buy retail!!!!

Because of the way the rear axle is set up (solid beam), what happens to one side of the car will be felt on both sides. So, I agree, bad struts and don't do one side only, do them both or not at all. It's likely more annoiance than anything and it can make for an uncomfortable ride (especially rear passangers! ha!!!!) not to mention it puts undue stress on other parts of the car. That being so, in the words of Larry ....GeT R Dun~!~ lol
