Battery Issue after radio install
Hello guys I finally got around to installing my 06 pathfinder radio this weekend. And like everyone says to do, I jumped the K and D wires together. However after doing this its like my battery gets drained. At first I thought it was the battery so I changed it and used another battery from my other car. And this morning when I went to crank up my car my battery was dead again. Has anyone else had this problem after doing this install? Thanks in advance!

Have you done a parasitic drain test yet?
What are the wire colors you spliced together? Are you sure you didn't connect the constant B+ wire to the amp turn on, instead of a switched B+?

If your looking into the back of the radio, I connected the top right of the right plug to the top left with the left plug using a piece of wire. The wire colors were blue and green/white. Any ideas?

Looks like that's wired properly.
Again, parasitic drain test?

Ok I will. I wonder if a 99 SE-Limited would be wired any differently? How do I do a parasitic drain test?

Ok I figured it out. It turns out that my battery terminals were so corroded that I wasnt getting a good connection with my battery. I think im going to get an optima dry cell battery so that I dont have to worry about corrosion anymore
