ok to buy front wheel bearings from autozone?

I need new wheel bearings, is it ok to buy the ones from autozone to replace my bad ones with? or should I buy from somewhere else? Or is it a specific brand that I need to look for?

Pretty much anything you get will get the car driving again.

As far as long term reliability, search the forum, there have been a few threads about it.

I'm personally done with Autozone for good unless its to warranty BS parts from them. I've had too many failures in too little time, they were properly installed and not abuse. Everything they sell if garbage. OEM is the way to go unless of course you're on a budget... I've learned my lesson

I would tell by the brand of bearing they sell. Timken is top notch for example. Others that I would not hesitate to use include NTN, Koyo, NSK, Nachi, and SKF. These brands are used extensively by Nissan and other OEMs.

Just make sure they give you the right part! I will not buy anything unless I'm 100% sure it's the right part. I DO NOT trust them to give me the right part!

I know I have not been on here long enough to give advice but I have tried many parts on my car auto zone , arch and other local stores and they all failed me within a few months but my advice it to stick with the dealer parts they cost more but last longer, just some advice from some one who wasted a lot of cash on cheap parts

TIMKEN

I recently bought TIMKEN bearings but not from Autozone. I actually used Autozone and this forum to get the part numbers and bought the bearings from Amazon because I bought other stuff and they had free shipping. To my dismay, the bearings and seals are stamped made in Korea and Taiwan respectively, not made in Japan as I thought they would be. I guess only time will tell if they hold up.
