Something wrong here?

I took my 98 max in for a tire rotation as my back is ailing, and they said that
some lower tie rod arm may be missing; remember, it was at Walmart and those guys only do tires and oil changes.

Notice the bolt to the left of the control arm; should there be a connecting rod attached? this bolt is at the lower left end of the wheel.

That's your steering stop. That's exactly how it supposed to look besides maybe a nylon cap. Don't listen to the guys at Walmart, if they new what they were talking about, they would be working at a REAL shop.

That blanket statement just reeks of ignorance, IMO.

Not really, but that's rather ridiculous to make a judgement on someone's abilities due to their employer, especially given how it is trying to find a job.

Don't listen to me, though; I work at Firestone, therefore I know nothing.

The way I see it is, was he trying to sell you something? If he wasn't, he was trying to help you out. He was incorrect, but to me just sounds like someone trying to make you aware of a possible problem. There's nothing wrong with being wrong (unless you're an engineer)...it's whether or not you can admit to it which is important.

Regardless, still funny!
