Whats the Deal Drop Zone or Max Speed

I'm tired of waiting for sprint springs to come back to stock, so i was wondering which springs are better (Max Speed) or (Drop Zone) Thanks!

Dropzones, those are better progressive springs.

More info go to www.teamdropzone.com

One of our fellow .Org members assures us that his car sits level with the ground. He has DropZones. Sprints do NOT. You do the math Sprinty.

The DropZone pics (I'm sure you've seen them) include more of the side of the car, and it is more level (unless that pic has some added weights in the trunk... ). Don't flame me Sprinty, I have Sprints too ya know.

no flames here... but just so you know.. the DZ pics going around are Jay 25's car.. and he doesn't have DZ's.. he has intrax with 1 coil off the front.. somehow some fail in communication that everyone thinks they are DZ's.. as i know.. i don't think anyone has posted pics of DZ's yet..

That makes a lot more sense. It also makes sense that DropZone would do that - their product probably does leave gap like Sprints then. And finally, no wonder Jay25's car look so sweet...he cut a coil! Once again, you are right The Great Sprinty.

Sprint I did have dropzones on my car at that time I sold them because they gave me the same drop as intrax, eventually it would have settled, I was not about to wait for it to settle, and I got them for a good price $125.00 brand new so my sister shipped them for me for free. 3 of the coils were very soft. Now that guy that makes that claim I would like to see his car slammed with the dropzones, I wouldnt doubt it. But after 21/2 weeks and no sign of settling I just took them off and just put the intrax back and cut a coil off prior to me putting them on. The drop was just right and so far no camber problems, , ooooh Thanks god. I am also waiting on a set of weapon R coilovers Ill put them to the test here on this pothole kingdom, Ill keep you guys posted, and I also received a digital camera from my brother I just hope it takes some sharp pics or I wont be celebrating.

OOH they talking about you, my bad dude, Your pictures will speak for themselves. It would be nice if you stick your little fingers under the fenderwells for everyone to have an idea of how much Gap they will have. I say for the rear 2.5 fingerwell gap for the front 3.5 for the front, that is exactly what I had when I had them on.

Thats why I was thinking about the coilovers route. Then if snow or whatever is bad I can always raise them the daqy before or what not.

Don't you think they'll say they do themselves?

Re: Umm...

You think they'll lie and say that they manufacture the springs themselves when they don't. Don't you find it odd that they have the same part no. as sprints except for the 'DZ' part of the part #?

BUT, if they have a different drop as some people who have them have stated, they would not be the same spring as Sprints as all. That would me a completely differenly engineered spring, and unless Spring is coming out with a Gen2 spring, it is most likely different.

Is a long distance phone call correct only cause I dont have a recorder Ill ask them who makes their springs etc.. and see what they say so tomorrow around 9am Eastern time check this post again and I should have the answer for everyone to see what they tell me on who manufactures their springs, but listen up sprints are blue and dropzones are red in color I dont know if that has anything to do with the manufacturer, and anyways sprints sit a bit high on the rear then if that was the case I would have kept my dropzones and would have never sold them. My own wife who doesnt care about cars said those springs look the same thing as your old ones,
So I took them off and sold them.
